The "Don" of the Roasts

Jeffrey Ross is one of the most versatile and well respected comics in the business today. Most known as the hilarious and dangerous host for Comedy Central's Roasts to Hugh Hefner, Jerry Stiller, Rob Reiner and Drew Carey as well as his love poems, Jeffrey will bring his own blend of love and danger to GW's GW Lisner Auditorium on the night of October 1st.

Making his stand up debut on "The Late Show with David Letterman" in 1995, Jeffrey has gone on to make numerous appearances on "The Tonight Show Starring Jay Leno", "Last Call with Carson Daly", "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher", "The Howard Stern Show", ABC's "The View" and he is a frequent guest and guest host on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live".

During this time he has become Comedy Central's prodigal son as one of the first writers for "The Man Show", one of the first correspondents for "The Daily Show", two solo stand-up comedy specials on the network in addition to hosting and co-producing the last four celebrity roasts, the network's highest rated broadcasts.

Most recently he created, executive produced and hosted the first ever MTV Bash which featured appearances by Eminem, Britney Spears and Madonna. Jeffrey was also the head writer for the 2000 Academy Awards hosted by Billy Crystal, the 2001 MTV Music Awards hosted by Jamie Foxx, and the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards hosted by Chris Rock. As an actor, Jeffrey most recent film credits include roles in "Stuck on You" and "Along Came Polly" as well as guest starring roles "C.S.I." and HBO's "Six Feet Under".

Backstage Magazine called him "New York's Best Stand-Up" and New York Magazine jokingly crowned him "The Meanest Man in Comedy". He's really not that mean, just really funny.

One of the brightest stars on the comedy horizon, Dan Naturman will be 'middling' for Jeffrey on this night. Many people remember Dan as a series regular NBC's "Last Comic Standing II" where he made it all the way to the theater where, although he got a standing ovation, did not make 'the house'. Dan has also made appearances and Comedy Central's "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn", "Premium Blend" and "Comedy Central Presents...". He is also a regular on "The Late Show with David Letterman", "Jimmy Kimmel Live", "Last Call with Carson Daly" and Louis Anderson's "Comedy Showcase".

Doug Powell is one of the most clever and unique performers on the comedy scene today. His creative and hilarious style of musical comedy is earning him a name as one of the east coasts premiere up-and-coming comedians. While Doug has only been writing and performing for five years, he has two independent comedy albums under his belt and is getting ready to record his third this fall. Doug, who will be the emcee for Ross and can be heard nationwide on XM Satellite Radio.
