Bob Saget

It Ain't "Full House"
Adult Humor

Throughout his 25 year career, Bob Saget is a true hyphenate, successfully cultivating an extensive and impressive repertoire of acting, directing, stand-up comedy, writing, and producing achievements.

Saget is known world-wide for his television roles and set a precedent by simultaneously starring in two hit prime time series, as "Danny Tanner" on the eight year run sitcom FULL HOUSE and the host of AMERICA'S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEO'S. Saget set a precedent as the first person to simultaneously star in two prime-time series. The two series often placed in the top ten, and are now hugely popular in syndication worldwide.

He also played the role of Matt Stewart in RAISING DAD, a series created by Jonathan Katz for the WB. Bob has been seen over the years on THE LARRY SANDERS SHOW, hosted SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE and appeared countless times on LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O'BRIEN, THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN, and THE TONIGHT SHOW, with both Jay Leno and Johnny Carson, and made numerous appearances on HBO's annual homeless effort of past, COMIC RELIEF.

He executive produced and directed the critically acclaimed and powerful ABC telefilm FOR HOPE, a story loosely based on the life and struggle of Saget's sister, Gay, who passed away in 1994 from Scleroderma. It often still runs on Lifetime and other cable channels. He directed the MGM feature film DIRTY WORK, an episode of HBO's comedy THE MIND OF THE MARRIED MAN, as well as the telefilms, JITTERS for Lifetime and BECOMING DICK for E! Entertainment Television. Additionally, Saget executive produced and starred in the ABC Family Movie FATHER AND SCOUT, as well as wrote, directed, and starred in the HBO special IN THE DREAM STATE.

A few years ago, Saget was honored by Harvard University. He was inducted as an honorary member of The Harvard Lampoon, joining the likes of past recipients: John Irving, Kurt Vonnegut, David Mamet, the cast of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, John Wayne, and Winston Churchill.

Saget just recently completed starring in the hit off Broadway show, PRIVILEGE, written by Paul Weitz, writer and director of "In Good Company" and "About a Boy," and directed by Peter Askin, of "Hedwig and the Angry Itch." PRIVILEGE was sold out, received rave reviews, and ran for over seventy performances.

Bob guest-starred on the first season of the Showtime series HUFF, starring Hank Azaria, Oliver Platt and Blythe Danner; and most recently received kudos for his comedically controversial performance on this new second season of HBO's hit series, ENTOURAGE.

Saget was also seen in the hilarious and controversial documentary feature film, THE ARISTOCRATS (banned at all AMC Theaters), where his appearance has been getting raves from The New York Times, The New York Observer, and Entertainment Weekly, who said, "...This is the host of America's Funniest Home Videos as you've never seen him before."

His stand-up is growing exponentially. Headlining the House of Blues in Las Vegas, theaters, and colleges, his packed-housed audiences all grew up watching him. Now, they're watching him grow up.

Bob is very proud to be an active member of the board of directors of the Scleroderma Research Foundation and is also on the board of the Starlight/Starbright Children's Foundation. He hosts and produces three major fund-raising events every eighteen months, for the Scleroderma Research Foundation: in New York, Los Angeles, and the organization's base city, San Francisco. Through these events, he has helped to raise millions in the quest to drive Scleroderma into remission, to help find a cure for it's hundreds of thousands of victims. Bob resides in Los Angeles and is the extremely proud father of three beautiful daughters.

Allan Goodwin is one of the funniest and respected comics on the circuit today. Creative and lovable, Al can do any room anywhere, anytime. Al's strength comes from his ability to connect with people and appreciate the lighter side of their own lives thru his observations and material. Allan was a winner on "America's Funniest People", has been seen on "The Billy Bush Show", numerous PBS commercials and "The Bottom Line" hosted by NAACP President Qweisi Mfume. Besides playing almost every club and college around the country, Al recently made the step to the theaters opening up for Wayne Brady and Steven Wright on their most recent tours (and now for Bob Saget). Another sign that Al is about to hit the big time was his recent admittance into New York's prestigious Friar's Club in recognition of his comedy achievements and dedication to his work.

Justin Schlegel

With a style much in the vein of Jim Carrey or Dane Cook, Justin Schlegel is well on his way to be being a star. Justin, just in the last two years, was a finalist in Baltimore's Funniest Person Competition and won other competitions sponsored by Kaufmann's and Holiday Inn. His high energy and outrageous disposition are a perfect blend for this show.

Bicycle Thieves

Bicycle Thieves

Playing from 7PM until 8PM

For the recording of their latest EP, The Second Place Confession, Washington, DC's Bicycle Thieves assembled an all-star cast to help. Produced by Chris Keup (Jason Mraz) and Stewart Myers (Agents of Good Roots), it was recorded at Dragonfly studios, where Jason Mraz recorded his newest release. It also features a mostly-acoustic track recorded with Universal Records artist Jack Johnson at his Mango Tree studio in Hawaii. Fred Kevorkian, widely known for his work on the latest White Stripes releases, mastered the disc at Absolute Audio in New York City. It was released to a sold out crowd at Iota Club in DC, and momentum has been building ever since.

In February 2004, the band received the Wammie (Washington Area Music Award) for Best Rock Group and also performed live at the awards. Sean Daly of The Washington Post wrote of the ceremony: "Live acts--all of them phenomenal' included swaggering indie-poppers Bicycle Thieves." And Mark Jenkins of The Washington Post wrote in his review of the EP: "The Thieves possess something that many of their stylistic peers lack: songs. Jon Kaplan, the band's singer-composer, knows how to pin a phrase to a shiny hook and sling it skyward...Kaplan's songcraft is no small attraction" This was also evident to the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York City, who selected Jon to play at their New Writers Showcase this past summer.

Bicycle Thieves are getting regular radio airplay on DC101, Z104, and XM Radio's Unsigned Channel, and were chosen to play two sets (one acoustic, one electric) at the 2003 HFStival, the legendary summer concert at RFK Stadium. The band has also had music licensed to MTV's "The Real World". With more touring on the horizon, a mailing list of over 1500 people, and a street team getting the word out, the Thieves show no signs of slowing down.
